A Brief Overview of the Project
Our well-loved Earl Grey Playground is nearing the end of its safe lifespan in accordance with CBE standards, creating an exciting opportunity to reimagine this space for our growing community of diverse needs! With your support, The Earl Grey Playground Revitalization Committee, a sub-committee of the Earl Grey Parent Association School Council, aims to build a stimulating and inclusive playground that fosters play for everyone.

Imagine an inviting, and accessible play space for our students and community to learn, grow and develop their skills. A fun, inclusive and safe environment whether you wheel, crawl, walk or run. A place for the community, parents and guardians to gather and connect.

With your support, this is achievable!
Our Current Progress

What an incredible fundraising initiative this project has been for our community! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Earl Grey Parent Council and students, Parks Foundation Calgary, the Government of Alberta Community Facilities Enhancement Program and our amazing volunteers, we’ve raised a total of $440,000 toward our $480,000 project goal.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve received $125,000 from the Government of Alberta's Community Facilities Enhancement Program, a $50,000 Building Communities Grant from The Parks Foundation Calgary, and a $5,000 Embrace the Outdoors Grant from Parks Foundation Calgary.

We’re now just $40,000 away from reaching our target!

If you’ve been thinking about contributing, now is the time to donate! Our brick campaign will end soon. We've extended it to the end of April. Please help us spread the word to anyone who might be interested in supporting the project and leaving a lasting legacy at Earl Grey School.

Thank you all for your continued support. This has truly been a team effort, and we are thrilled to see everything coming together to achieve a summer 2025 installation!
